My Project HistoryMy web sites
It's what i do, and i've done a lot. This is a list of the major sites i've worked on. Here they are alphabetically.
current count: 32
Former employer's site, back when i made all the web sites for them. Designed by brett. Now they're out of business. That's life.
Alaska 3D Users Group
I designed and developed this cool site. Jay-r never gave me content so it still sits inactive.
Alaska Chadux Corporation [link]
Designed by jim @ bradley, I produced Chadux's (pronounced Sha-doe') design. Alvin helped out a lot on the production of the site.
Alaska Building & Science Network
I made most of their original site in 1998 and produced the design (by brett) on the 1999 one.
Alaska Sportfish Council
status: lost funding
Design & development by me. They supplied photographs and we put their site up for cheap.
Alaskan Independent Traveler [link]
Cheap, simple tourist site for a guy who rents his whole house to the rich alaskan tourists.
Directory and database of hundreds of tourist-related businesses in alaska. Front end design by darin, my job was to work on the hundreds of client sites held within alaskaone. Drill down in the site and find any company. I guarantee I did some work on that page. [link] [link]
Anchorage Christian Center
status: remade (i moved away)
Pastored by my dad, my uncle and my grandpa. They also employ my mom. I've gone there since i was four. Made their web site in 2001.
Anchorage Concert Association
Designed by CTG, I revamped it a tiny bit and made a shopping cart for their season ticket sales, rewrote their buggy asp in cold fusion and updated the site regularly.
Anchorage Movies [link]
I used to be the sole updater of movies and times. boredom. i played a small hand in the self-updating version.
The band of some friends of mine. I designed their site but we never got together on it so it eventually fell apart. Cool site though.
status: online, updated
I maintained and rewrote some of the older systems, the checkout system and made the telephone rep ordering system.
Bear Tooth TheatrePub [link]
Designed by Jay-r, made, updated and maintained by me for 2 years. I also made the joint moose's tooth & bear tooth shopping cart (twice).
British Petroleum Intranet Training
status: intranet only
An internally online training program for BP managers, the result of losing a multi-million dollar court case. I designed, put all the lessons in flash, designed the database and developed the tests, logging in and administration in cold fusion.
Bread Machine Industry Association
I made updates and stuff on this site originally developed by pablos.
Brett & John's European Adventure
Brett desiged it and i produced it. Was pretty cool, but i got canned before we finished it.
dopefly dot com [link]
status: you're looking at it
My own site, 100% by me in every way. Yes it's weird. Redesigned it quite a few times. More times than you can count on both hands.
First Interstate Bank
Brett and i each designed it once. I programmed their client directory, but it's probably been redeveloped by now.
Alaska's largest Information and communications expo. Brett did most of the design work, and I put everything together.
A native corporation that wanted to keep in touch with all their shareholders. I published their quarterly/then monthly newsletter from quark to the web for years. Also helped out on extranet and admin programming.
Maui Diamond Seasports
I designed & developed it. Looks pretty nice. I think it's basically unused, just sitting there with old content.
Mooses Tooth [link]
Designed & originally developed by Jay-r, who should do neither from now on. Actually it didn't turn out so bad, but he did some strange development things. Now it's updated by me. I also made the joint moose's tooth & bear tooth shopping cart (twice).
PeopleMeet.com, (targeted dating sites, 25+ in total including blackpeoplemeet, singleparentmeet, loveandseek, ldsplanet, indiamatch, littlepeoplemeet, calipeoplemeet, littlepeoplemeet, etc...)
status: still kicking
I was the architect and primary application developer. Also constructed a lot of related systems, and the massive intranet management site. Allowed visitors to multiply over 2500%, wrote multiple chat/IM programs, and a lot more.
Petroleum News Alaska
status: taken over by communists! the owner
I designed it back when i wasn't a good designer, sadly. But it's hard to design a site when the owner has low standards and odd requests.
I made the design and did all the development along with some light programming (feedback forms). At one time i had the whole site dynamic, out of a database, just because it was faster to produce the pages with hundreds of items and update that rather than pages on pages of HTML.
Rex Attorney's Video [link]
They planned this site to be cheap, so i designed it that way. Rex likes purple, too. Don't ask me.
Designed and developed by me in every way except lesson content. Safework U trained employees in osha required lessons. It was set up to let you sign up and order over the internet, customize your environment (possibly to match your company's web site), train your employees online and browse the results. With a huge back-end, Safework U was incredibly useful for everyone involved.
Stephan Fine Arts [link]
Designed & developed mostly by darin. I gave him a strong helping hand.
Statewide Petroleum [link]
They make gas stations & stuff. This site was made in about 1 week. Nice looking too.
I redesigned it twice to make it sort of cutting-edge. I don't work there so they redesigned it since then.
The youth group i helped with. Had a pretty cool design, the youth pastor was very happy with it.
Tundra Comics [link]
Fun comic strip site. Comic drawings by the artist, other design, production and programming of the shopping cart, strip of the day and archive by me.
Will Triplett [link]
Local country western musician/singer's promo site. Whole site made and updated by me. *Won best web site award in Nashville, TN.*
An interesting site about a family's travels around the globe. Designed by allen or matt, updated a ton by me.
status: probably online
Built in Fusebox 4, used strong security to help users do credit card lookups and ask for help with zencon's many dating sites.
Back in the day, I did a lot more design work. Not everybody likee everything i designed for them. Most people want to see a few samples, they reject them all and want to see more. This is my tribute to all the sites i've made but weren't used.
Take them if you want them, some are even pretty good. Most are really bad. All of them are unfinished. If you're really interested, i might still have the original photoshop or html files. It can't hurt to ask.
