Gmail invites for ideas

Give me a suggestion on how to improve this site, and I'll send you a GMail invite. It's as simple as that. I've got 6 to send right now, and my site sorta sucks :o) Leave your ideas and your address in the comments below!

Well in the macromedia blog, you could add some sort of sidebar to display something, the ocntent you have doesnt need to stretch all the way across, so you have a lot of room to put somehting in, maybe a scrolling app showing news items form the other areas, or some amazon links to good books

You have a good start. The first thing that pops is how well your colors complement each other...maybe a little too well. I would suggest playing around with your color scheme a bit more. You need to add some contrast, add some disturbance and "break it" sorta speak. my 2 cents!

Site Design is too big, on my resolution i don't see the bottom-image. put more images like this on the page (in the header?). but keep them simple. the colors are nice, but try to give them a little more contrast.

First off, love the footer image and the effect it has in Firefox. Too bad IE doens't support the z-index.
As I have a form off colorblindness, the site is kinda hard to read for me. This is mainly by the color gradient behind the text and the menu. Some more contrast would be great.

besides the previous comments about the site being too big- (expanding the width that you use will help) I think your color scheme is too light. different monitors show them in too wide of a variety. since your site is so text heavy, i'd suggest you make it darker across the board. Also I think you should move the navagation to the left side. The right side can be used for featured items or things that you want to "jump out".

Marvin, it's the CSS posisition:fixed; attribute that IE doesn't support, that makes the site look cool in firefox.
