Good Reading: Wikipedia Anti-Patterns

Some of the anti-patterns listed on Wikipedia's page are way too familiar. It's good reading in the sense that we should learn what not to do. Here are my favorites that hit closest to home:

"1. Some repeated pattern of action, process or structure that initially appears to be beneficial, but ultimately produces more bad consequences than beneficial results, and

2. A refactored solution that is clearly documented, proven-in-actual-practice and repeatable."

a lot of them never seemed to have met the first criteria, especially the non-programming ones like Three-headed knight: The indecisive manager. How would that have ever of seemed beneficial.
